This course is designed to help participants review the signs of depression and anxiety, but will focus on the importance of physical activity, nutrition, sleep, social support, gratitude practice, and relaxation. Participants will be seen and heard, so that once the workshop is over, each person will feel confident and empowered to use the skills they learn.
Equipment needed: This workshop will be held as a walk-and-talk session, as outdoor fresh air and low impact exercise are great forms of self-care. Participants should be prepared for Canmore’s unpredictable weather and elements.
Other notes: In the event that COVID-19 restrictions prevent the in-person nature of this workshop, the session will be moved online. Participants will be sent a Zoom link in advance.
