This lively and fun cooking class will provide youth the opportunity to meet new people and acquire a valuable life skill. Eating habits and attitudes towards foods are developed while young. This interactive program is designed to teach kids between the ages of 10-14 the basics of how to prepare nutritious, fresh food on a tight budget! Participants will learn about basic nutrition, the cost savings of homemade foods, how to make healthy substitutions and prepare delicious dishes.
