What is Big Fun?

We are outdoor fun and active fun. Challenging and exciting fun. Loud and quiet and messy fun. We big energy, big friendships, and big adventure.

We are Big Fun.

This full day camp is a great way for kids aged 9-11 years to keep busy with arts & crafts, games, sports, outdoor activities and more! Campers will swim and climb during their visits to Elevation Place. We will explore Canmore, its parks, forests, and local businesses by foot or Roam Transit.

Location: Room 230, Canmore Recreation Centre 1900 8th Ave, Canmore

Camp runs 9am-5pm. Pre/post care is available 8:30am-9am / 5pm-5:30pm free of charge.

In order to ensure a safe and positive experience with us, please note:

  • Participants are required to bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks. No nuts or nut by-products.
  • Please send your child with a water bottle and indoor footwear. Dress for weather as every day will have outdoor activities.
  • Our camp handbook and more information can be found online. Detailed schedules can be found at check in and a supply list will be emailed out one week prior to the start of camp. All participants must sign a waiver before the start of camp.

Parent handbook, forms, and more information is online. All participants must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk before the start of this registered course and fill out our Camper Information Form.
