Babysitting Course


For youth ages 11 years and up who want to start earning an income babysitting. Feel confident caring for children after this course.

Game On!


This program is designed for children ages 7 – 9 who enjoy board games, friendly competition, and fun with friends. Each week offers new games that encourage strategic thinking and positive peer interactions in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Home Alone


The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time.

Reading Between the Lines


The Family Connection Centre is partnering with the Canmore Public Library for this reading program designed for youth ages 9 – 12 who enjoy reading and thoughtful conversation. Each participant will read a short story from a selected book before each session and come together to explore themes, characters, and personal perspectives in a guided group discussion.

Youth Cooking Club


Youth Cooking Club is designed for youth ages 10 to 13 and offers a fun, hands-on opportunity to build kitchen skills, explore healthy recipes, and gain confidence in preparing simple meals independently over four sessions.
